It does a good job. The only, minor, frustration I have with it is that every time I use it I have to set the power level. It's a cheap microwave and I'm never going to use it on anything but max, it should be possible to set this as a default.

The mains chord was rather short, and BLACK - on a white appliance! The keys on the keypad don't move - so there is no tactile feedback, much worse than the old model. It is very powerful and OK otherwise.

I have owned this microwave for just over a year now, everything works just as expected,it's easy to use and has suffered no mechanical or electrical issues, but there is a serious problem. It is very, very bad at expelling the steam created from heating outside the oven. The result of this is a lot of condensarion builds up on the inside, over the course of a few days this forms a pool of water under the rotating plate. I bought this for a friend who is a 'self confessed technophobe' so the requirements were basically 'as simple as possible to operate'. This machine certainly seems at first hand meet these needs, I had the clock set up without consulting the manual in jig time. A very uncluttered layout of buttons and a large cooking compartment, in fact I hadn't checked the dimension so it is bigger than what she will ever use. I actually may purchase one for myself.

We had a Sharp microwave when we got married over 27 years ago. It was built like a tank, and it had the most great sensor cooking settings - you just told it "frozen veg" or "jacket potato", no need to tell it any weights, and it cooked perfectly. This is an excellent model if you want a basic one without frills. This is what we wanted. Works well and have had no problems. Also a good size.
