Settings selected on the hob are transmitted to the hood controls, allowing the fan setting to adjust automatically for intelligent ventilation and an optimum room climate.The DA 2578 also supports WiFiConnct, MobileControl and ShopConnct, with operation available through the Mielemobile app. Electronic controls and light touch switches with LED make everyday use straightforward.Powerful Performance and Flexible OperationThis integrated extractor offers 3 power levels plus a Booster level for short bursts of high extraction, ideal when heavy steam, smoke or strong odours occur during cooking. The programmable Booster switch off can return the hood to Setting 3 after 5 minutes to help avoid unnecessary energy use.The Auto Fan Run On function can switch the hood off automatically after a 5 or 15 minute run on period after cooking, helping to clear lingering vapours and odours from the kitchen.Extraction or Recirculation InstallationThe Miele DA2578 offers a convertible air guide for extraction or recirculation operation. For recirculation, the DUU 151 conversion kit and DKF15 1 active charcoal filter are required and must be ordered separately.Extraction ducting connections are available at the top and rear, with a 150 mm extraction ducting connection. Installation requires a minimum height of 450 mm above electric hobs and 650 mm above suitable gas hobs.Easy Cleaning and Long Lasting FiltrationTwo dishwasher safe stainless steel grease filters with a 10 ply construction help capture grease effectively and are simple to maintain.
