A very High Quality Kettle, very well made, Great Looking Appliance. Expansive, but remember you are paying for a high Quality Product. Reason for not giving, Five marks out Five, is that it's a little awkward to see water level, I have good eyesight, anyone with weak eyesight (elderly) will struggle to see the water level. Got my recommendation.

We have had the kettle for several months now. Good looking, quite quiet, fast boil BUT you can’t see the water volume through the windows. It’s all far too dark, and is unacceptable in a £120 kettle! Very frustrating and the kettle is now put away in a cupboard and the old, noisier one back in use. But at least you can see the water level without having to open the lid or estimate the water content.

Bought to replace a 10+ year old Siemens Porsche kettle, this model was the only one that looked ahead of the pack in build quality. Two weeks on, I'm still impressed. Not perhaps as quiet as the hype suggested, but it just makes a reassuring 'kettley' noise. The lid requires a good tug to open for refilling. The spout is impressively drip-free when pouring. I suspect it will be with us for a good few years.

I am extremely disappointed with the kettle. The lid is hard to open, needs a good pull. I realise this is probably for safety reasons but not a smooth lift. The kettle is made out of a thin tin/steel which means that the water is cold very quickly. With steel being so cheap, admittedly from China I am surprised the kettle is made out of a thin tin/steel. The kettle works perfectly and as there are very few gimmicks it should last longer than my other one I replaced it with. It is difficult to see...

This kettle has a premium quality feel, looks great and is very well put together too. The 'Whisper Boil' works - the boil is noticeably quieter than our previous kettle. The windows on the sides of the kettle make it easy to put in the right volume of water to avoid wasting electricity. There's no taint to the taste of the water, even when new.
