Rating Gorgeous ice cream
Review by Maria Rosso on December 11, 2017You will need a large freezer to keep the bowl in, I recommend keeping the bowl in the freezer for a few days first & turning the freezer up to maximum, if the bowl is not cold enough it won’t freeze the ice cream mixture - once you get all this right you will hav some great ice cream. So far I’ve used it quite a few times & made banana, chocolate, strawberry & vanilla ice cream & everyone loves it -
Rating MANGOS
Review by SEAHU on November 23, 2017You have to try mango pulp sorbet. This machine is simple but it’s one of the best purchases this year and will always be used unlike other items that may sit on shelves. -

Rating Solid and reliable
Review by Captain Trousers on November 22, 2016excellent machine. Unlike soem of the others, this one rotates the whole bowl rather than the paddles. the bigger motor makes for a less noisy machne and ne that should be more relable given that it is put under less stress for its size than a bowl mounted motor. Only downside is the time to freeze the bowl. I would recommend buyng an extra one so if you have to make two flavours, you dont have to wait twelve hours to re-freeze the unit -

Rating At last beautiful ice cream! And here are some tips to help
Review by Dr. K. Johnson on August 12, 2009I've had mine now for a couple of weeks. This ice cream maker is superb. I had been considering the type with its own freezer but just couldn't convince myself to spend that much. I'm glad I didn't. This ice cream maker makes ice cream with such a beautiful smooth texture that I find it hard to believe that the expensive models can improve on it.
This maker uses a 'gel' filled bowl that has to be pre-frozen. My last one was the same, but I could not get the ice cream to freeze properly. The... -
Rating Perfect First Time
Review by Mrs. E. L. Martin "Girl Foodie" on February 18, 2009We received ours in the post yesterday and immediately cleaned and froze our canister so that we could make ice cream today. (We chose pistachio.) Not including the time it took to prepare the nuts- making what we think REALLY IS the best ice cream we've ever had was quite quick and easy. It took about 30 minutes from liquid to firm - then, into the freezer for an hour to firm up. We just scooped our very first serving and are thrilled with the results. My husband is very hard to please....
